Why Birdhouse Offsites?
One building. One booking. One unforgettable team day.
Planning an offsite usually means juggling venues, vendors, caterers, and crossed fingers. At Birdhouse, we handle all of it, so you can show up, be present with your team, and take the credit.
Expert-led sessions that actually stick.
Our workshops are run by executive coaches and professional facilitators who know how to get teams talking, thinking, and working differently. No trust falls, no filler. Just practical, engaging sessions built around the skills that move the needle: communication, leadership, collaboration, confidence, and team dynamics.
Then, the fun part.
Keep the energy going without leaving the building. Our on-site partners: Zach Field Drum and Music Studio and Motivate Movement Studio turn your afternoon into something your team will still be talking about on Monday. Drumming, movement, laughter: the kind of connection that doesn't happen around a conference table.
Fed, and fed well.
Fresh, scratch-kitchen catering from local restaurant Crave, delivered right to your meeting.
Whatever your day looks like, we've built the space for it.
Leadership retreat, strategy session, or team development day.
Birdhouse gives your team a welcoming, inspiring place to grow together.

We facilitate leadership team sessions anchored in the LIFT Model™, which focuses on four critical elements of high performance: leading from culture, investing in and inspiring people, focusing on what matters most, and tracking results. Through this framework, teams align around shared goals, clarify expectations, and strengthen trust. Participants leave with actionable insights and clear commitments that position the team to work more effectively together and achieve stronger results.

Research consistently shows that when people feel valued, heard, and connected at work, performance improves. For example, organizations with high-trust cultures report up to 74% less stress, 50% higher productivity, and 40% less burnout (Harvard Business Review). In these workshops, teams explore how culture is created through everyday behaviors and conversations. Exercises such as Facts vs. Stories help participants examine assumptions, communication patterns, and the impact of leadership behaviors. The goal is to help teams build environments where people want to contribute, collaborate, and go above and beyond.
-
Leaders often know they want to bring their team together but are unsure how to structure the time to get the greatest impact. We can work with leaders ahead of time to understand their goals and recommend a structure for their offsite that will help them achieve those outcomes. During their time at Birdhouse, the sessions would be expertly facilitated to guide meaningful conversations, strengthen alignment, and ensure the team leaves with clarity and momentum.

Find Your Rhythm - Together
Trade the conference room for the music studio. After a day spent building skills in the training room, our corporate offsites bring teams together through hands-on, collaborative experiences, like a guided group drumset lesson, that draw out new skills and experiences you won't find in a typical workday. It's a chance to build trust, spark energy, and get people out of their heads and into the moment. No experience required, just an open mind and a willingness to make some noise!
The Location
The Trades Mill is a beautifully restored historic mill building in Amesbury, MA located just off I-95 and I-495, making it an easy destination for teams coming from North of Boston and across the Seacoast NH region. Skip the city traffic and downtown parking hassles. The Mill offers a convenient central meeting point with the character and charm only a historic building can provide.
With on-site partners including Zach Field Drums and Music Studio, Motivate Movement studio, Birdhouse, and delivery by Crave, everything for your perfect offsite day is in one easy-to-reach place.
