  • We are still offering our introductory rates and love being able to provide an accessible and beautiful space for all kinds of celebrations and gatherings!

    Here is a quick breakdown:

    Weekday Evening Rentals: $375 for 3 hours Weekend Rentals: $550 for 5 hours

    Need a little more time? Additional hours are available at an hourly rate, just ask us and we will work it into your booking!

    For events with more than 50 guests, a separate fee will apply. Reach out and we will put together a custom quote for you.

    Discounts: Birdhouse members receive 20% off all private rentals. We also offer discounted rates for non-profits because we love supporting the good work you do in our community!

    All rental rates include quality furniture, a Bluetooth speaker, free parking, and elevator access. No food or drink minimums ever.

  • You’re welcome to bring in any food you like! (It’s best to avoid red tomato sauce and red wine to avoid any accidents!) We have a kitchenette with a small fridge and microwave for your convenience. Additionally, we offer a list of fantastic catering partners at various price points, each with unique specialties, to help make your event truly special! We will send you those details when you inquire about a date.

  • Yes, you are welcome to add your own decorations! We just ask that nothing permanent or damaging is used for hanging, and all decorations must be removed by the end of your event.

  • Absolutely, music is always a great addition to any celebration! We have a Bluetooth speaker available for your use included with your rental, or you are welcome to bring your own setup if you prefer. We just ask that you be mindful of our neighbors and keep the volume at a reasonable level throughout your event. Please also respect the City of Amesbury quiet hours which run from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Other than that, enjoy!

  • Alcohol may only be served to party guests with a special one-day liquor liability insurance policy, which is the guest's responsibility to secure online before the event. Birdhouse and Trades Mill must be listed as additional insureds, and a Certificate of Insurance (COI) must be provided at least 7 days prior to the event. We recommend https://www.eventsured.com/partnership/birdhouse/ to obtain the policy.

  • To reserve the space, visit www.birdhouseamesbury.com/rental and submit a request via the form. We’ll check availability for your date and get back to you. Once confirmed, we’ll send you a contract and request a deposit to hold the date. Final payment is due the week before your event via a Squarespace invoice email.
